Faces Behind The Fur

Bethany | Groomer

Meet Bethany

Bethany has been a professional groomer since 2018 and has a special love for Yorkies, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Shih Tzus, and other small breeds.

Her gentle touch and attention to detail help every pup look and feel their best. She’s also the creative talent behind many of our fun sandwich board signs – the good ones!

Outside the salon, Bethany enjoys hiking and spending time with her two dogs, Asher and Khleo.

Piper | Groomer

Meet Piper

Born and raised in Mill Valley and a proud Tam High graduate, Piper brings energy, positivity, and plenty of personality to the salon every day.

She loves making dogs feel comfortable and cared for while helping them look their absolute best. Her favorite breeds are doodles and terriers.

When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her cheering on the 49ers, relaxing at Stinson Beach, skiing in the winter, or spending time with friends and family.

Francisco | Bather

Meet Francisco

With over 20 years of experience in the pet care industry, Francisco is our professional dog bather and the heart of The Dapper Dog Salon.

As our very first employee, his kindness, dedication, and ever-present smile have made him a favorite among clients and coworkers alike.

While he loves every dog he meets, doodles hold a special place in his heart. Originally from Mexico, Francisco enjoys coaching youth soccer, watching professional soccer, and spending time with his wonderful wife and son.

Lia | Owner

Meet Lia

Lia founded The Dapper Dog Salon out of a lifelong love for animals and the Marin County community she proudly calls home.

Growing up working in her family’s business, Stefano’s Pizza, she learned early on the value of hard work, exceptional customer service, and building lasting relationships.

She’s the proud owner of London, the salon’s beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mascot, whose love of fetch borders on obsession.

When she’s not at the salon, Lia volunteers as a coach with the Special Olympics in basketball, soccer, and softball.

She also enjoys live music, playing coed sports, traveling to new places, and catching a great comedy show.
